I guess a new incumbent could reverse some of the BE's worst decisions without losing face. Maybe TPE will get full wiring after all!!

Grayling I think will go down as probably the worst SoS for Transport this century.. McLoughlin was far better, although the GWML electrification farce took place on his watch, so he wasn't perfect.

Good point, well made - Darling appeared to hate the idea of spending public money to make public transport better. An extreme beancounter, with huge chips on both his shoulders.
