Had a walk down here and the development is indeed now called Strata. Its a nice little stretch of waterway as well with locks and some old buildings.

They have completed a lot if not all of the foundations/footprints of the buildings and several are on their way up.

Strata, though, is the name of the developer. This development is, incomprehensibly, called Flaunt. 😨

Flaunt ?? Maybe thats why there were no signs up saying Flaunt. :nuts:

The main part of this looks complete but they are still finishing houses at the far end of the site and from the other side of the river you can see the existing bridge which will connect this to City Reach.

I presume everyone saw the Pre App report for the new City Reach scheme, with revisions to the approved 'City Reach 1', and the proposal for the new 'City Reach 2'.

So are we assuming that this is the Leeds site that this new developer is referring to?

Is this a good thing? Do these people have a track record of building schemes or is it another we will buy it now and sell it on in a couple of years?

It all sounds pretty good but will it ever be built? Have to say though if we could get the whole of that side of Kirkstall Road built with thousands of homes as proper communities with shops/faclities etc I for one would happily sacrifice any glass residential tower.

Yes there looks to be plenty of landscaping going down to the river - I suppose there is always a balance to strike in these matters though.
