I agree about the social housing. I think the form is good and fits in well with the mills in the area. The size is very disappointing. Apparently the lounges and kitchen are together in these.
The detail on the render looks old. You still have Maxi's there and 3 new blocks are missing to the north of Kirkstall Road. I guess the problem with car parks is any basement car parks would perhaps be prone to flooding.
I agree it's funny how a railway viaduct for example would be seen as positive but a road is a no no. I think a four lane at grade road would be awful. Here's a photo of hatch in Manchester it shows how you can weave a functioning elevated road into the city. I do wonder if electric cars will make elevated highways more attractive due to reduced noise and air pollution.
