^^ 2 Units per floor? They must be massive!
Another angle on the new Sunland Tower for Hedges Ave:

Abian's going to have a cousin;)

Fantastic that they are bringing this class to the GC.
Its sad there was a lobby group already fighting it before even seeing the design. So what do you think the outcome will be with their Zaha Hadid designed masterpiece at Mariners Cove/2 tower proposal? I know they and we were all waiting on a master-plan for the spit. Is there a deadline for this? Obviously it's after the election so no one risks their ass/seat....[prob. same reason as the likely new Casino site.]
Ps. The owners of the Oracle tower one [esp. the mulit-million $$$ penthouses] will be pretty pissed with a new tower going straight in front...

I feel so bad for all the multi-millionaires on Hedges Avenue who are going to be forced to look at a world class tower down the road instead of a 70s unit building, it must be so tough.

Can we get a kickstarter happening for these poor folk?

looks alot like Abian in brissy
great design
The DA is up btw, few additional renders in there, all in all, a welcome bookend to the skyline.
Looks like an asymmetric y shape design, similar to Lake Point Tower in Chicago, probably the first major residential tower to employ such a design. Its done to maximise the number of rooms with windows but the axis are also designed at an angle which prevents one another staring into each others apartments.

Credit where it's due, it has nice big balconies all the way round, which personally is something I want in an apartment.
A new tallest south of Oracle.

Other than Elegance and the Star Residencies:p

Abian is an asymmetric Y-shape as well.

And just like that, Australia's longest skyline gets that little bit longer!
I mean it sorta runs all the way to Cooly in a sense. This definitely bookends Broadbeach though.
