site limited by 80m height control.
model now on public display on lev17

There is a small office building that just looks out of place shapewise at the moment on the site. This is something better for the corner. Fits in nicely like a jigsaw puzzle.

There is ZERO reason for this area to be under such a height limit. Nothing is being overshadowed. FML

yes but it is creating an 80m wall along sussex st.

^^ Which Barangaroo has ignored. Really should be changed. Still awesome to get a dev in this part of the city.

Gosh that is a tiny development in a time of huge demand in the CBD. Can't understand the 80m height limit in that part of the city.

I guess it's a hangover from the 'concept' of a the profile of the CBD dropping down toward Darling Harbour. That's well and truly shot nowadays with Barangaroo but council is steadfast in its opposition to change. And height.

Even with the redevelopment works, taller buildings are snaking their way deeper into Darling Harbour. Even if it were maximum100 metres, I'd be happy.

with 4 levels of basement car parking accessed from Sussex Street.

its a great spot for apartments. not far from townhall and close to d harbour

Pity it doesn't take in that apartment block beside it as well as it will be no loss either.

Assuming a design comp.?
