Far East Organization submitted the highest bid of $601.3 psf ppr for the site next to Ang Mo Kio MRT.

I wonder how much the psf ppr price that Alexandra Heights could fetch.

How old is Grandeur 8? Sounds weird for a condo of such a name is in AMK..:lol:

After Metropolitan was launched, the transacted prices of the nearby Tanglin View and Tanglin Regency went up.

Recent residential land site sold or in the queue for mid to mid-high end beside MRT include : Redhill, Tanjong Pagar, Tanah Merah. But the price of those existing condos adjacent had already gone up recently after Metropolitan, Lumiere, Casa Merah launched.

There has not been any new launch beside Ang Mo Kio MRT over last 3 years which means prices had not gone up much, and AMO is actually pretty close to Orchard.

Amazing to sell at $1100-1200! To think that just 4-5 months back some Sail @ Marina Bay units went for $1100-1200 as well...

developers are getting greedier by the day :bash:

it's trendy to launch @ 1xxxpsf nowdays for developers, only need 329 buyers to buy :p AMK big estate sure got loads of upgraders..

Upgraders can move in when project TOP and rent out their HDB flats. Rental to pay for the loan. Not a bad strategy!

This site is scarce anyway, some upgrader buy there to be near parent as AMK is a mature estate. Willing buyer to pay anyway.

It may be wiser to buy a HDB point block (rather new) just next to the AMK and not facing the MRT track.
