I saw it last night actually, but how did you know it's 3 towers? I heard the cost was $150 million for a project called pearl towers which is this most likely.

There was a pic in a newsletter at BIC actually with the same Tri towers. I can tell you that these are very classy and are not green but blue+silver.
Great to hear that...how tall do they look on the renderings?

S-Line,

It's hard to tell but I'd suggest 45 to 50 floors for the tallest building (Tower talls vary)
and 35 for the shorter of two.
Good Good...we dont want another ''exhibition road"!!:dj:

Man these look atleast 40 stories, should be a superb addition although the pic isn't that clear hehe. I meant I saw the project in al-hamad's website, the name only in the project's section. So Moody, when is this thing supposed to be u/c or tendering process? You mentioned that a board has been placed with an ad for this project, is it up already?

I guess these 3 towers either for BIB(BAH. ISLAMIC BANK) OR for the businessman Akram Meknas . both have claimed last year that they have bought three slots in Sanabis to buld 3 skyscrapers it means 6 for both if plans still on schedule. I guess the specific area is the east side of aldana mall facinf the Citycentre mall.

Are they in Sanabis or near the city center ? cause that's a better location, and I think they should be there.

Ya I know that, if you were explaining it to me ;). My question is, well it be in seef or sanabis? Will be much better in the seef area cause sanabis is gettin low rises of around 10 stories.

I wanted to share somethin I read months ago, and I think this is the reason we're seein towers in the newly reclaimed seef area where the city center is.

While residential buildings are currently its forte, Bahrain Engineering Bureau is building the first office building on a newly-designated commercial strip from the Seef Mall to the Ritz Carlton, which is expected to be built on the lines of the Beirut Central District (BCD) being developed by Solidere in Lebanon, explains Khaleed Jamshir, proprietor of BEB.
Bahrain Engineering Bureau – which offers architectural, structural and mechanical designing expertise – is specialised in high-quality buildings.

The practice expects to have a total of 10 buildings under construction over the next six months, while nine others and one hotel tower are expected to be ready for tender over the period.

I was also wondering which side of the pearl roundabout this was on. Originally I was hopin for it to be on the Seef Side but come to think about it, I would actually preffer it on the sanabis side. The government have already relaxed their regulation policies on skyscrapers within the seef district, plus there is also plenty of other non-governmental incentive to invest within the area. Building these on the sanabis area will not only enhance further growth and quality within that particular space but will provide further prospect and greater potential for future seef developments. Bahrain is in somewhat of a building boom at the moment so it shouldnt be long before we start hearing about more projects in the seef area.

Last update: I have seen this morning while going to work that the constructor is making a place for his machinery right behind the adv. board. If you are coming from Dana mall to Pearl roundabout you will notice constructor stuff just based over there. I think it's called Lulu Pearl because it's closed to Preal Roundabout!

They will start marketing by May as the adv. board reveals!
