Al Waha is an exclusive gated residential community located right in the heart of Dubailand.

A luxurious enclave of 260 Mediterranean-styled villas set amongst endless rows of towering palm trees and manicured gardens. With the unique lines and curves of its beautiful buildings, terracotta roofs, warm hues and cobbled driveways, Al Waha is a stunning architectural concept against Dubai’s perennial blue sky backdrop.

Construction Update MARCH 2009

Dear Valued Customers,

We are pleased to bring you another update on the Al Waha Villas
project in Dubai Land. The project managers advise that overall
project completion stands at 98% and the final push is underway to
complete remaining elements and commence the handover. Please
find below a summary of the key activities taking place across the
site and some information on the preparations being made for the
eventual handover of your home.

We are pleased to confirm that major construction work to the
individual villas has been completed. One of the last components
of minor work was the construction of boundary walls surrounding
each villa and this has just recently been completed in full. Work on
the community club house is progressing steadily and we intend to
update you more specifically in our next issue.

Quality Control:

To ensure that the home you walk into following handover is ready for
immediate occupancy our project managers have conducted initial
quality inspections on all units. During these inspections defects
and other snags were noted and reported back to the contractor for
de snagging. So far, 60% of the villas have been de snagged and
work continues at a steady pace.
The internal project infrastructure is nearing full completion; at
present the cables for street lighting are being laid following which
the final handover landscaping elements can be installed. The
DEWA substation that will supply the project with power is at 95%
completion and we expect that the station will be energized shortly.
Work on the roads leading to the project is well underway and is
progressing smoothly.

Handover :

We have reached a stage where preparations for the handover of
the project to individual investors are now being finalized. The
property and Facility management teams will soon mobilize on
site to begin receiving the project from the contractor which will
be closely followed by handover to homeowners. Overall, we are
targeting the handover to commence during the month of June
2009. As construction has been completed, we are working on plans
to enable those customers with special requirements to commence
the title deed issuance process in advance of the physical handover.
If you would like more information on this option please contact the
customer service department to enquire further.
We hope the above has given you an overview of the current
status of the project. If you have any questions related to this
communication, or any other aspects of your purchase, our Customer
Relations Executives will be delighted to assist you. Please feel free
to contact us through any of the methods shown below.

Best Regards from,

The Customer Service Team
