Embodying the energy of sport, the soothing surroundings of nature, the pursuit of a healthy mind and body, and the creation of moments to remember, Victory Heights is all about the wellbeing of you and your family.

This project is well underway and some units are going to be handed over this year.

interior looks horrible, is brown the only colour they know?:bash:
You can see visit the show homes. Some villas ready for hand over end Dec 08.
Show homes look awsome. Best development in Sports City (possibly for the money DUbai) by far, quality of finnish is great but delays annoying. The prices are getting cheap, if you have family this place is perfect what with all the facilities. Recon people will move from Arabian Ranches to here... if you dont belive, check out the show homes.

Heps,

I recommend people to visit VH show houses if possible. Access is very easy and they are open from 9am-6pm working days. I was positively surpriced of quality compared other projects I have seen in Dubai.

Ps. How is DEWA bill's housing fee coming if you are the owner of property, not tentant?

Cheers

Juha

Homes delivered at luxury Dubai Sports City scheme

January 27, 2009 by OPPE News

Homes within a luxury sports-themed Dubai development are now being delivered to buyers, with residents able to use a championship golf course designed by a famous pro.

Bosses of Dubai Sports City, described as a “sporting paradise”, said villas and town houses in the scheme’s Victory Heights real estate project were complete.

The project features the ‘Els Club’, a golf course designed by three-time major winner Ernie Els, and built as a centrepiece to the surrounding homes.

When finally complete the overall city scheme will offer more than just residential real estate, providing retail space, offices, hotels, schools, and even a medical centre.

Dubai Sports City president Khalid Al Zarooni said: “Our vision from the beginning has been to create a high-quality, luxury residential community in the very heart of a sports-focused city, and today we mark that achievement with the delivery of these Victory Heights homes.”

Other sports facilities at the site include a 60,000 capacity stadium for football, rugby and other sports, plus a huge indoor arena, a cricket stadium, and hockey facilities.

The project embodies a new approach to real estate, combining sports related business with luxury residential homes.Dubai-Sports-City

Manchester United football club is even present, lending its name to a soccer schools initiative in the Dubai Sports City Football Academy.

Commercial real estate is also appearing on the site, which has two business towers, known as the Gateway, as an iconic entrance.

Homes are also designed to be integrated with the purpose-built sport venues, with the overall project stretching to a cost of $4 billion dollars.

Sports City Dubai homes scheme reaches final stages

March 11, 2009 by OPPE News

The finishing touches are being put to the luxury homes at a key development in one of Dubai’s biggest leisure and residential real estate schemes.

Executives have revealed units are being handed over at the Victory Heights development, Dubai Sports City, with 30 homes exchanging hands two weeks ago.

About 600 more - around two thirds of the overall project - are to be given over to owners between now and June, said Yasser Abdullah, general manager of Victory Heights.

The AED 2.5 billion ($680 million) real estate project is already famous for its golf course, backed by south African pro Ernie Els, and will also feature a tennis academy when fully complete.

Abdullah told Gulf News: “The idea is to get people to live near to and overlook the golf course. More than 60 per cent of the villas overlook the golf course.”

Homes are still on sale in the vast real estate development, which is aiming for a low density-feel despite its scale and is one of the most prestigious developments in the UAE homes market.

Overall the scheme will feature 963 villa homes in “Spanish, Mediterranean and European style”. Real estate available includes six plot types, from 2,600 sq ft of plot land to 17,5000 sq ft.

Dubai Sports City is a mater planned leisure, residential and retail real estate scheme within Dubailand, itself a huge mixed-use project.

Earlier this week the Dubai property market saw the Real Estate Regulatory Authority begin to publish publicly available construction updates online.

Property owners have started to enter their homes in Victory Heights, Dubai Sports City

Yasser Al Raee, GM, Victory Heights with the first family that moved to Victory Heights, Dubai Sports City

26-Mar-2009

Since the homeowners' event in late January 2009 handing over the first villas to property owners of the Victory Heights' luxury golf residential real estate development in Dubai, the first families have started to enter their new villas, community and new lifestyle.

Yasser Al Raee, GM, Victory Heights, said, "We are pleased that our actual homeowners will be living in the community. The significance of having our property buyers moving into these villas indicates that this community is seen more than an investment, but a sustainable, unique, desirable place to live. Our property investors not only invested in the development but also made a social commitment choosing to live in their properties."

Victory Heights' unique development design offers a quality living environment in Dubai. The real estate development is centered on the club golf course which is designed to weave through 963 luxury villas and townhouses. With properties built around 22% of the land, the remaining 78% is open space. Villas are currently being delivered on a weekly basis, with the aim to deliver a total of 600 villas in the coming months with a final handover due in early 2010.

Victory Heights is part of the Dubai Sports City mega-project.

Victory Heights project still moving ahead

by Matt Warnock on Jan 13, 2010

Two of the seven villages making up the Victory Heights development in Dubai Sports City have now been completed, according to the project's developer.

“The completion of 100 percent of the villas in these two villages is an important milestone in the delivery of the entire Victory Heights project,” said Yasser Abdulrahman Al Raee, general manager at Victory Heights, which is a joint venture between Dubai Sports City and Bahrain-based Arcapita.

“Both villages have their own distinct feel, Estella has a busier feel due to its location next to community centre, which once complete will be at the heart of the entire community. When the centre is finished early in 2010, we plan to host regular events for all residents, such as BBQs and family fun days.

The first phase of construction has been carried out by Al Jaber Group and L&T Western as part of an AED977 million (US $265m) contract that saw the first homes being handed over in early 2009.

“Al Jaber Group and L&T Western have been an integral part of Victory Heights’ success. We have worked together to deliver luxury villas, infrastructure, and facilities outlined in our project plans, and will continue to strive to ensure Victory Heights is a great place to live,” continued Al Raee.

Need our Villa

It seems our Villa in Novelia has been forgotten. Originally scheduled for completion July 2008...Looks like progress has come to a halt. On the flip side, the development as a whole is really taking shape and will undoubtedly become a much sought location and great family community.

on Feb 17, 2010

Power and water connections to the Victory Heights development in Dubai Sports City have been completed, according to the developer.

“All homes and buildings in Victory Heights are now fully connected to Dubai’s main electricity supply,” said Yasser Al Raee General Manager at Victory Heights, in a statement.

“We have been working very hard with DEWA to ensure that connection and supply are in place and 100% efficient for all our current and future residents.”

So far 385 villas out of a total of 961-units have been handed over, as part of the first-phase of Victory Heights project – a AED2.5 billion joint venture between Dubai Sports City and the Bahraini investment bank Arcapita.
