I visited Copenhagen the week before the Eurovision contest. We climbed to the top of the twisting church Vor Frelsers Kirke, Christianshavn, Strøget pedestrian street and the Old Town, visited the National Museum for the first time, vistied a charming book café, a restaurant, a markethall and spot a car caravan with some important Japanese people twice! Copenhagen is just about 40 minutes by train from Malmö where I live, across the Öresund bridge. Enjoy!

Interesting photos. I like the large, open pedestrian areas, squares and streets - quite different from most of the US.

The views from Vor Frelsers Kirke:

It gets more and more narrow towards the top! The stairs are really steep and the tower is also swaying so you'd better don't suffer from claustrophobia or be afraid of heights to visit the church tower!

The old Bourse House again.

Around Christiansborg Castle (parliament):

Amundsen Museum.

Danish post boxes are always red!

The backside of Christiansborg Castle. This was the first time I saw it from this angle, despite I'd been hundreds of times in Copenhagen!
