Lots of good shots - really NICE.
Hahah jeez, sorry, cuz I just copied and pasted the thread from the Brazilian section and forgot to translate/delete some titles... that says "again the town hall square, but with the backs to the old town (tivoli would be on the left side of the black building)", nothing important for you guys59 - Novamente a praça da prefeitura, mas de costas pro centro antigo (o tivoli ficaria à esquerda do prédio preto) :dunno:
Nice pics Schmidt, glad you liked it - and I agree with you that the city is very dirty. It's a shame that so many copenhageners are pigs as DD already said.
LOL, good one.You should visit Oslo next time, we are the Naples of the north
Oh, Copenhagen is very different from both, but I think Helsinki is more 'comparable'. (Tallinn we could compare with Prague though!excellent, so how does it compare with Helsinki and Tallinn (heh).
During (exceptionally cold) Easter holidays HKI sure was half-empty as almost all shops and activities were closed. It's true that Copenhagen is a bit more liveable due to denser city structure, but during warm season the difference is not notable. To be really honest I like Helsinki a bit more, it looks a bit classier, but Copenhagen seemed to me a bit more er... "livable" [...] But hey, I saw 2 different cities in 2 very different situations: one was covered in snow and the other was blooming in spring.
It seems like he didn't really get outside the old city and not even to Chirstianshavn. Some neat snappies there - conveys well what central CPH is about: charming early 20th century housing, great urban vibe and a lot of bicycles.
Would have been refreshing to see a few more Nörrebro/Vesterbro/Österbro (whatever not-that-touristy) shots though. Good job nonetheless.
