More at spectrum
Sarah Tower perhaps
Abito
Pall Mall

I'm sure if you added up the sum total of cranes in Manchester, we would have more! 50+ :)
Yeah, but Dubai is nothing more than a forced Disneyland of a town....eventually they will learn that just building more than everyone else wont buy you a nice place to live.....

Dubai is the personification of style over substance...
There doesn't appear to be any doka's amongst that forest of cranes.
They must have laxer building codes in Dubai. Steel frame only?

Having been there a few times I agree with you. Not matter how much money the Sheikhs throw at it, it will never have the same buzz as city like Manchester. The place seems to be a cultural vacuum and just feels so false. Probably because it's totaly run by outsiders, mainly Asians, so you get little or no interaction with the indegenous population.

Is this Spectrum? Good mass of cranes! The City Centre was amazing! Cranes and building sites every where! Those sandwich shops and cafes must be making a killing! :)

JRB, Spectrum is the 3 white cranes and the core to the right of the pic. they are behind the railway bridge in your shot. Hidden by the buildings are Quebec to the left and Abito and Tempus to the right. The blue crane in the foreground is a small development who's name escapes me for the minute, all in, a very busy part of town.
