Mixto EC

The stadium will has capacity of 42.500 seats during the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and after the tournment can be an stadium of 28.000 seats and place for concert and other types of events.

Além disso, haverá lojas, restaurantes e lago artificial no entorno do estádio.

It's a nice solution for Cuiaba and gives a contrast to the otherwise more oval/roundish stadiums of the 2014 WC.
It is very interesting the solution to reduce the capacity after the World Cup.

28.000 is a good number for Cuiaba...

I hope local teams can do a good job and reach the National First Division until 2014. Good Luck!

The best word to define you
Cuiaba has almost 1 million in its metro area and now will be one of the host cities to FIFA World Cup 2014.
One of Brazilian booming business cities!

Are their any teams from Cuiaba in the Seria B?
This is English style stadium with huge gaps between pitch and stands?
Are their any teams from Cuiaba in the Seria B?
No. Only in the third division (série c)...Hahaha.
Mixto Esporte Clube is the best team in Cuiaba, unfortunatelly Mixto plays for serie C.
The team played in serie A: 1976, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1985 and 1999.
^^1999? Are you sure?
Nice one. And unique. I can't quite recollect a stadium with trees growing in the corners
Two things: Why is the capacity of the stadium being reduced? and Why couldn't the reduced capacity have been in the 30k range?
Great! It is innovation for World Cup´s stadiums.
it's interesting the "ecologic" design, I liked trees
^^1999? Are you sure?
I just copied the text above, but I think it's wrong too.
Maybe 1989 instead of 1999.
