Congratulations on a new forum!

Working titles of your sections "Projects and Constructions" and "Photography" are only temporary. We expect you to come up with new names which will be less generic and specific to this section. Keep in mind every title also has a subtitle. So for an example "Photography" forum can have a subtitle in Czech - "Fotografie".

If you want the forum name to be changed to Czech Republic, Czechia or Česko please say. Subtitle for a forum name can be made as well.

We also expect you to decide whether you want your forum to be in English or in Czech. English makes it more readable for foreigners but Czech will boost the activity. It's up to you.

I will check back in couple of days to see what have you decided. Give priority to the decision on section titles and subtitles.

From my point of view..
1) english is better, it's one of the reasons I'm still here.. even reading english posts improve my language skills

and most of czechs are bilingual..
2) Towns & Cities + Projects & Development groups as before + other threads here - and subtitles? I have no idea..
3) name of the forum should be as it is written now, as a subtitle I prefer "Česká republika" or "Česká diskuse" (or it's english translation) or sth like that..

I don't see the point of people writing in their own language (not referring to this thread) in an International Forum. Nobody can understand anything and the forum/thread/discussion will pretty much go to waste.
At the same time, speaking in english shows respect to foreigners that visit each separate section in SSC. Personally i think english should be the only language allowed in all the forums here but that's just me.

Poland forum has 1.3 million posts and it's in Polish, while those that work in English are much much smaller. It's the choice between activity and presentation to foreigners. But you can always open a forum in the general Euroscrapers forum for the Czech Republic and Prague to present the development to all the intl visitors.

Anyway you can always have a bilingual forum.

This is just hypothetical, there are enough Czech forums in czech language already so I think one international czech forum in English make some sense.

Yes but this is international forum so why to use Czech? What makes this forum special is you can visit a discuss constructions in different countries, I don't see big sense to speak here in Czech, moreover we don't have any czech mod and our forum is in foreigner's hand. There are many czech specialized forums on the internet so I'll keep English as main language on this forum.

I think we can consider the special sections about Prague, Brno and Ostrava, I hope mods will not obstruct our wishes about organization of Czech forum.

OK just keep in mind that subsections come with activity and that the Czech forum itself needs to pick up some activity first

special sections already?
no

It is too early, we won't stop if we see the need arise, but in the future, the same way the Greek forum grew slowly
We don't want to open sections like in the German forum and some end up being empty, due to a lack of people or interest

I knew they will obstruct it... today I'm the only czech forumer here so I don't need to organize my subforum anyway.

I think that the fact we created a section for less than 5000 posts content proves we are not obstructing anything at all. Actually we are trying to give some activity to Czech threads by doing this. But making 20 sections for 20 users doesn't fit into our current development idea.

you have an idea so why you ask something? This forum was your idea too after all, we czech forumers arer just watching what's going on here. I don't think subtitles of our sections or something like that would become most discussed topic here so I personally would leave it as it is now.

If you personally don't care about the forum names and organization it doesn't mean others share your position. Maybe others have ideas about developing the forum

I think for now the forum name and subcathegories are ok. Maybe in the future I would welcome subcathegotry about Infrastructure.
