Hello :)

I need your help, dear Czech ssc members :)

I'm planning bike trip to Prague - I want to start in Szklarska Poręba (near Harrachov) and through Cesky Raj (sleep) to Prague (sleap) and from Prague -> Cesky Raj (sleep) -> Lubawka (near Trutnov). I want to bypass main routes (crowded by cars), I would like to cycle by side roads. Here is route that I drew on google maps: goo.gl/maps/smP5v

I don't know if my above route is ok or you suggest to choose another?
Could you be so kind and help me? :)

Cheers!

First of all, you should check your route here: http://www.cykloserver.cz/cykloatlas/ or here: http://mapy.cz/s/9Inq
The second has also route planner for bikers. (plánování a měření trasy -> na kole)
Hi. I have question:

Which are oldest buildings in Prague Castle from the 15th century? Compared to new ones from 18/19th century.
Not an easy task to compress 11 centuries of history in this manner - e.g. it took almost 600 years to finish the Cathedral (1344-1929)... :)

The oldest existing building would be St. George's basilica founded in 10th century, but then again - majority was rebuilt in 12th century (although probably in line with the original to some extent) and the western facade dates to 17th c.

I agree, but the cathedral is almost all original on the outside, isn't it?

Which is generally oldest part of the castle? I know Vladislav hall
