Go Hotels To Open 3 New Branches

GOKONGWEI-CONTROLLED gohotels.ph is opening three new branches this year, bringing the total number of budget hotels in its network to 10.

Adrian Ong, sales and marketing assistant manager, said a branch in Ortigas Center, near Robinsons Galleria is set for opening in August, while the Butuan and Davao City hotels will start operations before the year ends.

`Very bright prospects’ for city: exec
Posted on February 2, 2015 by Kristianne Fusilero

THE CITY is expected to experience “very bright prospect” this year in relation to its economy with the entry of additional investments, a top official of Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (DCCCII) said.

DCCCII president Antonio Dela Cruz said the real estate industry, for instance, will continue to grow as there would be more buildings, residential projects and other investments that would be implemented.

Dela Cruz said one of the real estate projects is the eight-storey Go Hotels of Gokongwei-led property developer Robinsons Land Corp. The budget hotel, which would have 180 rooms, will be constructed in Lanang.

Dela Cruz attributed the better economic outlook to the city’s stable peace and order and good governance which attracted investors to pool in their investments. “It is the number one contributor for the development of Davao City,” he said.
