Not just Vivaldi but the upcoming tower(s) of Alcantara's Aldevinco redevelopment project plus the Apo View Residences on the right side... can't wait to see this angle again of downtown (claveria) cluster by 2020.... Anyway, unta padak-an pa ng people's park, butangan ug dako kaayo na man-made pond/lagoon if pwede ala-central park lol.. ....

^^ Maybe she was referring to the lobby, zugba areas. Honestly, sayang talaga ang lobby because ever since that's what we know about Apo View. :eek:hno:
Syempre, ayaw ko rin mawala ang shop ni Juliet Pamintuan kung saan ginawa ang wedding gown ng misis ko. Remembrance kc malaki ang binayad ko noon. :D

Yes exactly the lobby, zugba areas just my opinion just to give way for the 3 Hi-Rise Towers daw "kuno" muna di naman kc sobrang laki ng parking area jan eh.
Sana wag na gawing 3 buildings. Instead of 3 buildings na let's say 20 floors each or more, gawin na lang isang building na 20x3 so 60 hahaha   #wishfulthinking

Pwd na dalawa 30+ each ^^
^^ Pero pano yan, it's gonna be taller than Vivaldi daw. So if ang Vivaldi is 37, then probably this is 38th.

Anyway, nothing's set in stone pa naman. Nasa drawing board pa lahat hehe. I just hope that they will preserve Apo View Hotel and have it integrated sa development, Davao's first and The Philippine's oldest hotel. ;)
I guess so ipreserve jud nila one thing to prove that by not changing name of the Hotel yet creating another one na dagdagan pa thru Apo View Residences! ^^
If only a second or third level can be put up in people's park!!! Wish Ko Lang!

I just want to clarify this project.. aside sa 3 highrise Towers!

6 floors will be added on top of the 9 floors existing Apo View Hotel making it 15 floors. So this will become soon!

I am guessing- if they knock down the older part of the hotel to include the old Penec bar and the 3 storeys inner hotel rooms, the function rooms and the lobby that it will give way to more than 3000 sq meters of space to build this 3 high rise buildings. Of course this includes the areas of zugba and the inner courtyard.

Tj, the Apo View Hotel is the second oldest hotel in the country after The Manila Hotel. However it is the oldest family operated hotel in the Philippines. It is sad to note that this Davao city icon has succumbed to the after effect of the Asian financial crisis. The oldest part of this hotel that survived the conflagration in the mid 80s is the penec bar and the 3 storeys inner hotel building with that dramatic spiral staircases and the function rooms.
