Bismarck Denkmal, Hamburg

Kaiser Wilhelm Denkmal, Hohensyburg -commemorates the 1870 war against France.

Original (before Hitler):

The Nazis removed the statues of Kaiser Friedrich III and Prince Friedrich Karl and redesigned it in a less "royal" style. So this is how it looks today:

Décidément pendant la seconde guerre mondiale y'a plein de bombes alliées qui ne sont pas tombées aux bons endroits.

The Soviets destroyed alot of monuments. The most prominent one is probably the Kaiser Wilhelm Denkmal in Berlin:

This is how it looked like before:

The Russian did however not remove the Völkerschlachtdenkmal in Leipzig because they were allies of Prussia against Napoleon at that time.

In Germany we honour our Denkmäler frequently, like with the annual Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, where concerts are held at the Völkerschlachtdenkmal:
