I nominate this Caydon developer, how is this building Atria allowed to be developed by the council in Hawthorn. Architecture seems to be worse in the inner city this is just one example but there are many others. I often wonder what these cheap apartments with the metal cladding will look like in 10 years. But I imagine it will be awful. Many smaller developers are charlatans preying on the population. The standard in architecture and materials is poor. Older apartments do need to be replaced, but not with gaudy edifices. The inner city will be a ghetto and councils are not properly planning and allowing this. I would prefer Stalinist architecture to what is in vogue at present. The problem is nothing has any substance and everything is plastic and shiny. The world has built in obsolescence and it is disheartening.

Why have you still not worked out the reply button? This could easily have been placed in a general discussion thread.

Also, I would like some substance to your claims. You are not free to talk anything on the internet and are in fact liable to refrain from slander.

Use a proper channel and proper method to vent.

So I am not allowed to have an opinion on what I like and do not like. The internet is a free place where people can discuss their ideas. These buildings are in a public space so if I do not like them or the developers that construct them I am allowed this view.

FFS, you quite obviously have a learning difficulty.
You have been told on numerous occasions that this area of the forum is for 'projects, construction, skyscrapers and statistics' - not complaints. Have you wondered why your last 5 new threads have been closed and locked??

as modernaux said, the best place for your constant whining is in the 'banter' thread, here or possibly in the skyscraper discussion forum here

The internet is a free place as in you are free to connect your own server (or pay someone to do this) and publish anything you like. However, you are a guest of this forum and the overall community here appreciates that posts are constructive in nature. Propose a solution or prompt a wider discussion in the correct thread (if you're not sure, ask and someone will point you to the right place) and your contributions will be appreciated instead.
