Just a photo thread of some photos I took when I visited Munich and the surrounding area, Salzburg, Prague, and Budapest when I visited for Christmas and New Years. Basically I flew into Munich then travelled by train to Salzburg, Linz, Prague, and last but not least Budapest before I flew out of Budapest back to the US (via Munich). Anyways I will start things off with Munich and I hope you enjoy looking at them (FYI: All images are my property and any unauthorized alteration and/or duplication is unpermitted and may result in legal action).

München, Deutschland (Munich, Germany)

Some random photos I took of Munich and the surrounding area including Dachau (infamous for the Nazi concentration camp of the same name), Hohenschwangau (famous for Schloss Neuschwanstein and Schloss Hohenschwangau), and Füssen taken around Christmas in 2013. Munich itself is famous for being the capital of Bavaria (the region in which it's located), it's beer gardens, Oktoberfest, having one of the largest Christmas markets in Germany, hosting the 1972 Olympic games, being the headquarters for a wide range of companies such as Adidas, Puma, Siemens, Audi, and BMW, and for being one of the most livable cities in the world.

Salzburg, Austria

Just some photos I took of random scenes around Salzburg in Austria (and a few photos of Linz as well) around Christmas which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known as the birthplace and home of world renowned musician Mozart and for the movie "The Sound of Music" which was filmed in the area.

No I was using a Fujifilm500 camera. Admittedly some of the Munich shots did not turn out that well because the camera does not do well at taking night photos or moving targets.

Anyways I enjoyed my trip. Munich, Salzburg, Prague, and Budapest are very nice cities that are worth a visit plus most of the people aside from one or two train conductors were very friendly for the most part. I also liked how Prague's, Budapest's, and Munich's mass transit system was set up and more US cities should at least copy their model.

Praha, Česká Republika (Prague, Czech Republic)

Some random photos I took when I visited Prague. Prague is known for being one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and many movies such as Mission Impossible, Les Miserables, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Casino Royale, and The Brothers Grimm have been filmed here. Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, the Lennon Wall and Petřín hill. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Budapest, Magyarország (Budapest, Hungary)

Just some random photos I took around Budapest around New Years Eve 2014. New Years Eve was pretty crazy here with people getting drunk and throwing firecrackers into the streets (one landed/exploded about 2ft from my foot). Anyways this city of 3.3 million people is a very nice city with tons of history and stuff to do (including a thriving nightlife scene and a shitload of sexy women running around everywhere) and the people are very friendly here.
