my top skyline used to be NYC with the old wtc .. but for now i put Chicago on the top of my list. I respect China as skyscraper powerhouse ..but most of them too chaotic for me. i like clean and compact skyline but the iconic landmark stands out and not overshadow by overbuilt sprawling highrises. sears tower was my favorite skyscraper after the old twin of NYC. SEARS marks the true era where the super tall skyscraper race begin when it surpassed the old world trade center in 1974. i will exclude KL because its where i born and lived.no bias.

1.Chicago (Compact and beautiful skyline. great city planning + Sears and john Hancock simple and iconic )
2.NYC ( the aerial view and the view from the bay is just breathtaking , damn i miss the Old wtc shot in movies like the good old days what a beauty)
3.Tokyo ( Odaiba rainbow bridge shots with tokyo skyline and old tokyo tower background is really amazing .monster aerial view)
4.Hong Kong ( Hong Kong A bit chaotic but its compact , 2 of my favorite building bank of china tower and ifc stands out .the topography is just amazing mountain and sea)
5.Sydney (not really tall skyline but compact and beautiful .i just love the sydney bridge and opera house landmark shots with the city skyline background.
6.San Francisco (what a beautiful city ,golden gate shots with the city skyline is like in a dream. maybe it needs one or 2 supertall . just perfect.
7.Shanghai (its chaotic but it got superb cbd especially the shanghai tower stands out and really beautiful especially at night)
8.Toronto (one of the best .CN tower stands out and skyline is compact , iconic and beautiful
10.Singapore ( singapore skyline is really compact and beautiful with the marina bay sand , make it jus perfect and more iconic like sydney.
