Do middle eastern arabs consider north africans arab too?
Do middle eastern arabs(levantines and shoutherns) consider north africans specialy de magrebians arab people too? sometimes I feel like middle easterns specialy syrians consider us inferior and less or not arab,my cousin is married to a syrian and she was treated so bad by her husband's mother and sisters in syria she told me syrians hate moroccans and algerians but her husband is different...I'm sorry my english is so badly

I know but I meant levantine arabs and shouthern arabs,levantine arabs are syrians,lebaneses,jordanians and palestinians.levantine doesnt mean arab.
Yes,north Africans are Arabs , with Berber minority too. but i consider them Arabs in General.

No they are not, but then again I'm lebanese and technically speaking, I'm not really arab. They speak arabic, but just because they do doesn't mean they are arab. They have their own ethnicity and that is a mixture of berber, european, african and arab, so arab is just one part of the puzzle.

well we latin americans share even more things with european latins than u do with arabs from the peninsula....but we dont call ourselfs just latins....hummm why dont u call urselfs arabized africans...and there problem solve..!! :lol:

agree with redalinho, arabs are not an ethnicity since even inside KSA and Yemen there is a huge diversity of people. It's all about culture and since Maghreb was influenced by other cultures such as amazigh and european, it's probably why some middle-eastern arabs look down on magrebians arab people. But i think in the end people who consider themselves arabs are arabs.

Arabs before Islam were categorized into arabized arabs (Ismailites/Adnanites) and pure arabs (Qahtanites) .. after Islam an arab acquired a wider definition which is basically everyone whose native language is arabic.
If we go by the ethnic definition your cousin's mother in law may not be consider an arab either.

most latin american have latin european blood, they give this continent a lenguage, religion, traditions and other stuff from the european latin countries....plus due to the huge migrations many people in latin american have pure latin european blood..that means no mixing with amerindians wich are a very very small minority if u count the ones who have pure blood....u cant compare latin americans ( yes we call ourselfs LATIN AMERICANS not just latins) to arabized africans....the only thing most north africans have in commun with arabs from the peninsula is the religion and lenguage....latins are from shouthern europe...so how can americans be latins? just call yourselves latinezed amerindians and problem solve!
