I found this on the TARCH Architects website under the name "Cape Town Docklands Development Programme." Looks like it's a proposal for the sites adjoining Harbour Bridge on the foreshore. That's Customs House on the right. Anyone know how recent this is? Looks like it could be 2013, judging by the site footer. I quite like the "archway" element!

This needs to happen - but focus on apartments. CBD needs to be filled with folk living there to trueskly activate its potential as an international city.
Loads of cities successfully intergrate high rise condo developments on parcels of former light industrial or empty lots near to major fly overs and spaghetti juntions in the heart of CBD's.
The benefit of living in the epicentre of a happening city well outheighs the negs of the underpass maze - especially with street art, policing and street furniture/lighting to snazz it up.
