Does in United Arab Emirates have checkpoint?

I will going to Dubai soon so I just want know about checkpoint on road. Does soldier will grabbing the gun at checkpoint in United Arab Emirates?

Thanks. Can people stay on Dubai street until midnight? I thought its illegal to stand on Dubai street in midnight time.

they can stay as long as they want, anyway, night life starts in dubai after 12 , you will find traffic past midnight ,

Does in Dubai have Billabong and Quiksilver? It's clothes store.

I bet, Dubai has Diesel and some nice preppy store. Does it have punk clothes store?

Dubai has every big international mark.( Nike , Diesel, Armani , Gap , etc....)
Billabong and Quicksilver I seen in BurJuman or Deira City Centre.
Punk shop I didn't find.

Are you a punk?

In Dubai I have never seen punks yet.

hmmm, when i was in school i had a couple friends and knew some others who wore lots of billabong and quiksilver stuff. but i dont know if they bought it from outside the country or if they got it in dxb itself.

just this winter when i was in dxb i saw a bunch of goths for the first time. there are definitely punks in dxb but they arent extreme punks. theyre young teenagers.

Does in Dubai have Seven-Eleven to eat or Niketown to buy new shoe? Vans is my favorite shoe brand.

Dubai has everything you can think of dude, yea we don't have 7-elevens but we have a gazillion grocery stores and cheap burger joints.

I have checked Dubai mall website so there is no Billabong and Quiksilver.

and Blink man, websites arent the best places to look for stores when u come to dubai, just go to the malls, City Center, Burjman, Mercato, then ur covered,
i remember this was a sky scraper forum , not a fashion forum,

There are supermarkets opens 24 hour non-stop. Bars are open till 3 AM and many restaurants and fast food outlets. Only after 2:30 - 3:00 the street become empty.

Didnt know there was a 7-eleven in dubai, thats pretty cool. And yes there's plenty of Billabond and Quicksilver in Dubai along wit Everlast and all the other brands. Just go to one of the many major shopping malls like City Center.
