The building to the east of the hotel (left in the top rendering) is currently in the pipeline for handling by the city planning department. This building will house offices and is planned to be 11 floors/42,6 metres tall.

Drammen gets its first new highrise in 37 years as a new conference hotel starts construction next to Drammen railway station this november.
The hotel will be 50 metres tall (49,57 metres to be accurate), have 14 floors above ground, 249 guest rooms and conference facilities (the biggest one will seat up to 400 people). Construction will last for around two years and the hotel i planned to be completed by October 2019.
This is the first construction of several to be built on the former commuter parking lot next to the station. A total of 40.000 square metres will eventually be built (this building is 13.700 sqm).

Streetscape. It's the angled building seen one block down the street.
