• Dubai Marina Tower is one of the tallest building in Dubai Marina with 103 floors.

• There is a special approval from H.H. The Ruler himself for constructing the building with such a height.

• Normal towers in the same location are below half of its height.

GGICO has a 25% co-investor in the project, which smoothens our cash flow.

• Project cost Dhs. 928 million (Dhs. 523 million construction cost).

Gulf General Investment Company (GGICO) is a Dubai based company established in 1973 in Ajman under the name Arab Economists Establishment. Through its subsidiaries, GGICO's operates in the real estate, industrial projects, hotels, clubs, restaurants, and other tourism activities. GGICO is also involved in oil trading and manufacturing of metal products and prefabricated houses.

GGICO has invested in the development of over 4,500 residential units in the UAE and the gulf region. Its real estate activities include furnished apartments, urban developments, warehousing, and industrial areas. On the other hand, GGICO is the holding company of four wholly owned subsidiaries involved in the oil manufacturing and trading, and in the manufacturing of metal packages and prefabricated houses.

In 2005, GGICO ranked eighth in terms of profits out of the top 50 gulf investment companies.

Maybe it will be built here, next to The Summit?

But could be a different location if "the towers next to it are only half as high".

Looks very nice, and the podium shouldn't be too imposing compared to others in the Marina. I see the top (roof) being an open-air patio/lounge/terrace under the angled spire structure, but that's just a guess.

but it would fit very well in the Tallest block IMO
I didn't say it will not be on the tallest block, because it might very well be (still 2 empty plots there).

All I said is that it will not be right next to Marina101, something we are sure of, for the simple reason there is no empty plot left next to that particular tower.

besides the height, its not very spectacular :dunno: the design is too boxy IMO
oh, and Marina 101, Princess Tower, Elite Residence, Emirates Crown, Sulafa Tower and Marina Pinnacle are not boxy?

The only special thing in most of the tall buildings, at least in Dubai, is the spire... especially in the Marina area because it is the only thing you`ll see from a distance..!
