1296 feet? I mean, this is taller than the tallest building in Los Angeles or Houston and it's just one of the many that are going up.

damn constuction is slow on this one.

in fact this whole end of town is slow at construction.

^^ no they are pretty fast , compare to princess for example.

Btw this one will probably only the 2nd world's tallest Res since Princess Tower, also in Dubai Marina is now confirmed at 107F + huge roof feature.

That tower is amazing. I can see a slight resemblance to the that skyscraper in Shanghai.

I'm sure I saw a small part of the world in one of them designs.

Well if their putting in a swimming pool every other floor and you need to hold the weight, also all the pluming and pumps.

Just imagine the sheer weight movement when there's high winds with all that water. Scares the hell out of me!
Finger's crossed the engineers know what they're doing.

^^ Not for a while considering the fact they havn't even begun piling yet. We can only hope they pickup speed soon.

For the mean time we will keep our tallest residential building in the world record here in AUS with Q1. I know it won't last long, but hey AUS don't get many good buildings
