I couldn't find a dedicated thread for my neighborhood, so I decided to start one. Apologies if it is redundant with one that already exists.

The progress in the past year and a half has been astounding. For anyone who is in the area but have not visited, I encourage you to do so. We have some great amenities including several wonderful restaurants (16 on Park, Kabobi, and Atwater's) and coffee shops (Starbucks and Cups) and the park itself. Plenty of open lots for future development with a grocery store likely coming in a couple years once the critical population mass has been established.

These are directly to the west of Eagar Park and east of the Ryan's homes correct? I know there are 30+ townhomes planned in the project that includes the new apartment that has been approved as well. These are different projects right?

^^yeah, this is different from the apartment/townhomes development approved some time ago. That's called "Eager Square". This is phase 2 of the Townes at Eager, also phase 2 of that same exact Ryan Homes development that you just mentioned...

That 100,000,000 sq. ft. has to be a typo:

Total development at EBDI will include more than 100 million square feet of office space, 100,000 square feet of retail and a total of 1,500 new housing units. More than 736 families who once lived in the Middle East community were relocated by EBDI as the $1.8 billion redevelopment project started up a decade ago.

That's about 39 skyscrapers 10 townhouses wide each side at a hundred floors each, or is it my math?

Henderson Crossing

The build up of the EBDI area continues. Cross Street Partners along with Apex Building Group and City Life Historical Properties were selected to renovate 51 vacant homes and 10 vacant properties. This will surely elevate the appeal of the Henderson Hopkins school to have that many properties renovated surrounding the school.

also, speakin' of that area, let's not forget about Eager Square. I can't wait for this one to break ground on the other side of Eager Park!
