Egypt is 6th in The world in Technology and Communications

احتلت مصر المرتبة السادسة عالميا في مجال تقديم خدمات الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات ، وصرحت د . هدي بركة نائب اول وزير الاتصالات خلال لقاء مع الجالية المصرية بمدينة مونتريال الكندية ان د . طارق كامل وزير الاتصالات يهدف إلي وضع مصر علي خريطة الابداع والابتكار عالميا من خلال المركز الجديد للابداع ورواد الأعمال .
واشارت الي ان الوزير وضع خطة تستهدف جذب أكبر عدد من الشركات العالمية في هذا المجال، بحسب الأخبار .
وكانت الشركة المصرية للاتصلات قد قدرت حجم انفاقها الاستثماري على تطوير شبكات وخدمات الشركة خلال السنوات الثلاث المقبلة بما يتراوح بين 6 إلى 8 مليارات جنيه.
وقالت الشركة في بيان تلقته إدارة البورصة المصرية إن توقعات الشركة وإستراتيجيتها بشأن الإنفاق الاستثماري يصل إلى ما بين 1.5 و2 مليار جنيه سنويا بهدف تمكين الشركة من تحديث شبكاتها وخدماتها بشكل مستمر.
وكانت الشركة قد أعلنت عن نمو صافي أرباحها خلال النصف الأول من عام 2010 بنسبة 12 % لتصل إلى 1.96 مليار جنيه.
وبلغ عدد مشتركي التليفون الثابت في مصر نحو 9.4 مليون مشترك بنهاية 30 يونيو / حزيران 2010، فيما بلغ عدد مشتركى الانترنت فائق السرعة لدى الشركة نحو 741 ألف مشترك مستحوذة على نسبة 61.6 % من خدمات الانترنت فائق السرعة فى مصر.
ويبلغ رأسمال الشركة المصرية للاتصالات 17.07 مليار جنيه موزعا على 1.707 مليار سهم بقيمة إسمية قدرها 10 جنيهات للسهم الواحد، وتمتلك الحكومة المصرية 80 % من أسهم الشركة والحصة المتبقية موزعة بين أفراد ومؤسسات وصناديق إستثمار وتداول حر بالبورصة المصرية.

Egypt ranked sixth in the world in the provision of telecommunications services and information technology, said Dr. Hoda Baraka, First Deputy Minister of Communications during a meeting with the Egyptian community in Montreal that the Canadian d. Tarek Kamel, Minister of Communications aims to put Egypt on the map of creativity and innovation globally through the new center of creativity and business leaders.
The Minister pointed out that a plan designed to attract the largest number of international companies in this area, according to the news.
The Egyptian Company for TELECOM has estimated the volume of investment spending on the development of networks and services the company during the next three years in a range between 6 to 8 billion pounds.
The company said in a statement received by the Department of the Egyptian stock exchange said the company's expectations and strategy on the investment spending of up to between 1.5 and 2 billion pounds annually in order to enable the company to upgrade their networks and services on an ongoing basis.
The company has announced a growth in net profit during the first half of 2010 increased by 12% to reach 1.96 billion pounds.
The number of fixed phone subscribers in Egypt, about 9.4 million subscribers by the end of June 30, 2010, while the total number of high-speed Internet subscribers the company has about 741 thousand subscribers to capturing the proportion of 61.6% of high-speed Internet services in Egypt.
The capital of the company, Telecom Egypt 17.07 billion pounds, divided into 1,707,000,000 shares with a nominal value of 10 pounds per share, and the Egyptian government owns 80% of the shares of the company and the remaining share divided between individuals and institutions and investment funds and the free circulation of the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
