In January 2017 i visited Eindhoven for a couple hours. Eindhoven is the fifh biggest city in the Netherlands (227.000 inhabitants/ approx. 500.000 incl. suburbs). We'll start near the Central train station, went to Strijp S (the reconverted factory terrains of Philips) and at last the city center. Here they come!

Not the most cozy or beautiful Dutch city, but Eindhoven sure has got some modernist and modern architecture! :eek:kay:
Great pics ! Great city ! Everyone only talks about Amsterdam and Rotterdam, but Eindhoven does not have to hide !
Great, very nice photos from Eindhoven :cheers:
Nice pics! Eindhoven seems like more of a modern city with skycrapers then the typical Dutch city with canals and old townhouses.
@Benonie
I agree, Eindhoven is imo not the most beautifull city of the Netherlands, but i like the modernist buildings, the football stadium alsmost in the middle of the city (not on a businnes park which the last 20 years is quite common in the Netherlands), the old factories and of course the highrises and modern architecture.

Thanks fort the replies!

@Nightsky
That's right. Eindhoven and Rotterdam are different from the old cities like Amsterdam, Utrecht, Leiden etc.
