Antonov 225

The A300-600ST Beluga

Airbus International operates the A300-600ST, the largest cargo carrier in the world, and offers its fleet of five aircraft for commercial flights.

The A300-600ST Super Transporter features the widest fuselage cross section of any aircraft, civil or military, and its main deck cargo volume is greater than the Lockheed C-5A Galaxy, Antonov AN-124 and Boeing C-17.

The Super Transporter is able to carry a payload of 103,616 lb over a range of 900 naut. mi. Range Chart

A300-600STs perform regular airlift duties for Airbus, carrying the airframe manufacturer's Airbus airliner fuselage sections and wings between the different European production sites. As a result, Airbus Transport International has the experience and know how in outsize cargo transport that comes from daily operations in an international environment. Picture of A300 carrying fuselage's

The A300-600ST Beluga is increasingly in demand by the international space industry for the transportation of high value hardware that ranges from space station modules to components for heavy lift launchers.

Why we need the A300-600ST

According to Airbus's global market forecast, Cargo traffic will be stimulated by the development of global e-commerce and manufacturing trends, and freight will grow more rapidly than passenger traffic.

World airborne cargo will grow at 6.4% per year during the next 20 years. World air freight will grow more rapidly than mail, averaging annual growth of 6.5% through 2019. World cargo traffic will more than triple over the next 20 years. World Air Cargo growth Chart

The international market will outpace domestic growth, exceeding 86% of total cargo by the year 2019. The U.S. share of the world market, is currently estimated at 31.5% of the market, and will decline through 2019. The greatest air freight market growth is expected in the markets linked to Asia. Regional Air Cargo Markets

Growth in markets linked to Asia is expected to outpace growth in other markets during the 1999 through 2019 period. Intra -Asia will lead the way with growth of 8.6% per year. Overall, the share of world air trade linked to Asian markets will increase from about 41% in 1999 to 52% in 2019. Growth in both the North Atlantic and North America-Latin America markets will exceed the world average of 6.4%. The more mature markets of Europe and North America will grow somewhat below the world average rate.
World Cargo increase Chart

The new A300-600ST will play a key role in the transportation of these goods. With its large cargo capacity it can ship a lot more goods at a more reduced rate. Many airlines will buy this aircraft and we will start seeing a lot more air cargo in the future.

Estan tremendas esas fotos megara.

Acaso no has leido mi post?
