Many Nigerian corporations and agencies (including NNPC, CBN, DSC, ASC, etc) have their own estates. Frankly, what this estate aptly illustrates is that the Nigerian state (which gets about 90 cents out of every 1 dollar of Nigerian crude oil) should be able to match (if not surpass) the sorts of facilities provided by the oil companies in the oil prospecting regions (of the Niger Delta). The Nigerian government should not penalize oil companies (including the Nigerians working for such companies) for its own gross ineptitude.
