The following countries do not maintain "stand-alone" embassies and can be found at special-purpose office buildings:

Albania 130 Albert St., Suite 302
Belarus 130 Albert St, Suite 600
Bosnia and Herzegovina 130 Albert St, Suite 805
Estonia 260 Dalhousie St, Suite 210
Latvia 280 Albert St, Suite 300
Lithuanian 130 Albert St, Suite 204
Macedonia 130 Albert St, Suite 1006
Slovenia 150 Metcalfe St, Suite 2101

Lack of funds?:(

Nah I dont think its lack of funds since Slovenia is on the list which is a developed nation.

Romania :pet:

Hungarian one looks very fancy, like a castle. Nice.

Ukraine's gives an impression of being crowded with spies doing their espionage work.

Bulgarian doesn't look like an embassy at all, more like a house of a diaspora-bulgarian who simply put the flag up there :)

Armenian is very nice, like the rest of them too.

No Georgia?

Very intersting thread - good idea to post pix of embassies!
I liked Armenian & Polish embassies very much.

Slovenian Embassy is in this building. Slovenian Consulates in Canada are in Toronto, Vancouver and in New Brunswick.

According to the address, this is the one in New Brunswick:

and this one in Vancouver:

The one in Toronto happens to be the biggest, but I can't find a picture of it. A Slovenian company has it's offices there too...

Great stuff KM, what about EE Embassies in US and Australia?
Armenian Hungarian, Polish and Croatian look very nice ,all seem to be very small in comparison, I think Croatian looks most embassy like with its front garden and high fence, and it is among largest among embassies posted..
You think Hungarian embassy is small? I think for Hungary this fortification is very big :)

BTW i am so upset that Russian emb is the ugliest one (if not ot count Romania of course). Couldn't they wash it up at least? :bash:

lol, I think KGB design bureau is behind Russian one and Romanian embassy is by far ugliest, I mean it looks like a commie block, lol...
If my country had such ugly embassy I'd sue the government for tarnishing the reputation of my country, lol...

Hungarian looks way cool I agree..

I guess it's because this blocks were built special for Eastern Block countries because of some anti-spy security.

In Moscow there was such an incident in 90's, when CIA agents found a bug in some ancient dish which was given to american ambassador in 60's. After that americans immideatly built new block hahaha lol :hahaha:

Is that 666 on a bottom-right corner of Romanian commieblock?

It is 656... Funny name - commieblock :)
Maybe Romanians are conducting secret experiments there and don't want average people knowing that it's an embassy

Tuxa4evskiy, commieblock is how we call all советские "новостройки" подобные тем что в спальных районах
