look at most buildings built over the past 200 years or so. most of them do not look like these and if they do then they have been hidden away in some secret corner somewhere.
in ancient and medieval Ethiopia you have a unique African architecture that was on par aesthetically and structurally with much of the rest of the world and then it seems that instead of progressing, things seem to have stopped and now most modern buildings look like most of the rest of the continent - like crap.
