The Real Estate Company, Ezdan, is in the process of planning its future project Al Gharrafa Mall in Gharrafa, located opposite to the Landmark Mall.

The Gharrafa Mall, covering 90,000 square meters of built-up area, will be connected to the Landmark Mall with a bridge crossing the main road. The main attraction of the project is a combination of dining, entertainment and retail, along with a pedestrian-oriented multi-use environment. Apart from this, an Imax 3D Cinema is expected to be the main attraction of the mall, and the entire region.

The mall is so designed to reflect the dynamics of history, thereby creating a new relationship between architecture space and the programme.

Another major project of Ezdan is the residential complex in Al Wakra, which has been planned to be completed in phases by 2009. This project will be built based on Middle Eastern and Qatari architectural styles. The complex, on completion will house 5000 residents, while also offering amenities such as a spa, health club, sports court and swimming pool.

Yes Aaron i noticed what happen unfortunatly, but if built somwwhere between the pearl and lusail it would be well visited..... wait a minute lagoona mall is there lol,good. and if we built one between Rayan and Doha it will also be well visited.... OMG Villaggio mall is there haha, see what i mean... maybe one more the size of citycenter right on the road theat connects Doha to Alwakra so both cities would merge into one large city. :banana:

Passed by today (notice the wonderful weather in Doha), the site is just huge! From opposite Landmark mall until the new Lulu hypermarket...quite a distance..

Ezdan increased net profits by 142% to QAR1.37 billion (USD376 million), in 2008, due to revalued land investments, which generated gains of QAR773 million (USD212 million).i think it is the same mall cuz it will cover an area 90,000 sqm and will have 3d imax theater twin!!!

I believe this is " Al Wakrah Mall's design"

I know the first photo has the "G" logo, but Al Gharrafa mall will has only G floor. Al wakrah mall will consist of 3 foloors

i believe that the renders is the design that is being built on site right now looking at the how the formworks are situated and how the columns are posted. passing by the site everyday.

we went through this before, pffffh. thelatest pictures are for Galaxy mall and the older "traditional looking" one is Al-Gharrafa Mall.

PICS:

The Al Gharaffa Mall, next to the Gulf Mall, is being promoted by Ezdan Real Estate, which is also building the 69,000sq m Ezdan Mall in Al Wakrah.

Its official: Gharaffa Mall is Ezdan Mall 1! Its going to be much bigger than Landmark, and from the design its going to be one of the best!

^^ you do know you mixed up the Ezdan & Galaxy mall renders... they might be old and new for the same mall but i am not so sure. because i can tell the the first section of pictures are different from the second set of pictures....

The First 2 pics are from the newspaper. The last set of pics from Ezdan website under Ezdan Mall 1.

The Galaxy mall/Gharaffa Mall might be Ezdan Mall 1. All three names are for the same building, I think?!?

i did not really like the mall so far, it look old fashion look at dubai mall and others... maybe i change my mind when its open

I don't think you would, i didn't like it either .. it looks much like city center but way smaller!!
