I think a trip to Perth would not be complete without a visit to Cottesloe Beach. Fortuantely the suburb of Cottesloe has a railway station but you have a ten minute mostly uphill walk before you get to the beach.

When I paid a visit, The Indian Ocean was pumping a swell and hence was a bit limited in what I could capture from the groyne which usually is where the postcard shots of the beach are taken.

Not a pleasant day to be in the water at all. I did see a few surfers braving it.
