"BTW, if you all wouldn't mind, I would slowly like to become the specialist in small projects"

You have my premission

BTW, This project is not going to be built - lost its appeal at the OMB
sure do what you like, it's a free forum.

how about starting a thread on mosaic condos near the annex? i hope you can find renderings other than the one on their website
why won't this project be built? it can re-apply for a permit (with less storeys)
Why was the project rejected? I hope it wasn't for some dumb reason like "too dense" or "too high" for the area. Aren't we trying to build our cities dense, or are we trying to spread everything out into suburbs?
It was rejected because it shaded out somebody's solar powered house. I guess they didn't see the environmental benefit of having 100 more people living close to an all night streetcar, near major employment centres.
I don't get this, why doesn't five-nine just volunteer to put this guy's solar panels on its roof???
Oh com'on...new developments still have to respect existing neighbourhoods...in this case it didn't make the grade...and it was clear to all involved. They paid for the site...they will just come up with the plan that works...I think this is how it's supposed to work...yea?

Everybody still remember this site as a lumberyard? Downtown Toronto is such a weird place...still has clunky little lumberyards. LOL

Pretty sure it was a community garden

Yea - have to agree

Of course - I think I even brought some salvaged moulding there
So what's gonna eventually happen with 59 on Richmond?
The website is still running, but they did stop advertising in the Condo Guide. Well more than 50 % of this buildinh has already been sold. I quite like the design and I would hate to see this canned, can't they just shorten the buidling or something so it won't overwhelm the garden or whatever it is?
