I live in Florianópolis and the project is very great! The only problem is the neighbourhood (Estreito) around the stadium: it's very dense and very "gray". The issue of transport is not easy to solve too. Well, the new stadium will be one of the most beauty of Brazil. The energy will be generated by photovoltaics solar cells in the top of the Arena.

Florianopolis unfortunately was not chosen as headquarters for the Cup in 2014. But the project is in progress, but unfortunately will not be for the Cupso this was is canceled?

Yes Florianopolis 2 clubs the Avai (1st Division) and Figueirense (when the 2nd Division), but always attended the Championships of Brazilian elite. hno:q pena q foi cancelado hein era um belissimo projeto,é nessa hora q se separa os grandes dos pequenos enquanto o Juvenal Juvencio conseguiu bilhões pra reforma do Morumbi mesmo sabendo q praticamente a nova arena do corinthians foi escolhida como sede (OBS:sou palmeirense) desistem desse projeto q pode muito bem ser realizado se for levado adiante mas pensam pequeno pequenos sempre serão
