Destruction of the old Post Center has definately begun. The two proposed Towers will be built directly beneath the train tracks. See the image below. The taller one may be up to 140m tall. The lower one to the left (90m) will be renovated. Future tenant is Deutsche Bahn Netz AG (german railroad company).

Completion is planned for End 2020. The Developers are Phoenix Real Estate and Groß & Partner, the Developer of the "FOUR" Project in Frankfurt.

Four skyscrapers are planned at the freight yard and around the adjacent shopping center "Skyline Plaza", including the "Grand Tower", the tallest residential tower in Germany. A high-rise building can also be built on the site of the old police headquarters. "The towers are becoming a separate cluster in the skyline," says Frank Lebsanft, Managing Director of Phoenix Real Estate.

The postal distribution center dates back to the seventies and will be discontinued until autumn 2018. It stood empty for about 20 years and should be reused several times.
