Was there ever talk of just building the new stadium on the same land as the currents stadium like Juventus did.

I wonder if the airport doesn't function during night games. I can imagine the bright lights of the stadium being quite distracting to pilots landing.
Especially pyrotechnics.

Its a small aerodrome, its not a commercial airport

Because of an court decision the club isn´t allowed to raise the capacity of the old stadium. So it wasn´t a option to build the new stadium at the same place.

What will happen with the old stadium once the new one is ready? And when is expected opening date for the new stadium?

They are planning to use the old stadium for the woman team, but they will demolish some parts of the old the stadium.
The new stadium should be ready for the new season.

old one should stay and new one is supposed to be ready for the next season. however no night games due to some law restrictions... you can easily google all about it
