I just realized... I'll get see this..
Does not Paris already have a park on a former elevated track?
i'm glad diller and scofidio are finally giving renfro his due... all those years without his name up there with the other 2 when he was doing all the real work.... good for him
Thanks for the info.

That's really interesting. It would be a shame to destroy the High Line. I was looking at the website http://www.thehighline.org/ and I hope they succeed with their efforts. I was always fascinated with NY's urban grit and i am glad that I am not the only one...

Glad you enjoyed it.. and indeed it would.. IMO, the concept is brilliant..
THL is such a unique gem that seems to fit NY like a glove..
And I can honestly say, THL is the first project in NY that I've ever really had a genuine intrest in,
to the point of being a volunteer, and supporter..

As for the project itself, its a go.. Work will begin in late 05'...

& Ohhh no my friend.. you're not alone.. NY's grit and character are what I love most..
For the most part, I could care less about new towers going up..
For me, its about preservation, and or renovation..
Being such a big fan of history, I could't ask for a better city...

I posted this short in my last thread on THL..
Anyone that missed it can see it here..
A must see for fans of THL
