Recently i was involved in a presentation on Level 44 of Grosvenor Place. I managed to take a few photos from various north and eastern facing locations.

Gateway up close and personal...

Gateway again...

I love the commanding presence of Gateway in this one...

Hello Mr Bridge!

To the east

and again

Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!

This is a trick, isn't it Av? You've applied some shininess filter to these pictures. Gawd, in the afternoon the inhabitants must have to cover the window to avoid flash-blindness.

How beautiful are these photos. What a stunning city, I cant get over how totally different to Melbourne Sydney really is. It is the complete opposite, warm sunny, naturally beautiful and very dense.

awesome views, and impressive photography!
Sure are.

Avatar, you were appox. 165m/540ft high up on the 44th level.

How glossy is Gateway's facade appearing & in the 5th pic post, how "small" does The AMP Centre @ 50 Bridge St look compared to Gov. Phillip Tower?

Excellent job :eek:kay:

...and here is a little pano I made from 2 of the pics LOL

The below pic proves how dense the area already is. Imagine when the 188m to roof, 219m to tip of spire of 33 Bligh and 1-9 Bligh (whether is ends up being 130m or 235m or somewhere in between) join in thereabouts!

Beautiful pictures! I fail to see anything that looks ugly in them, which further proves my view that Sydney is one of the best looking cities in the world! All those buildings look so sophisticated and classy; and when added with the bridge, the Opera House, and the harbour, everything comes together perfectly.

I love Sydney!
