The Altium to launch in 2Q

KUALA LUMPUR: The Altium — a Green Building Index (GBI) certified mixed development in Damansara Perdana, Selangor — is slated to launch in the second quarter (2Q) of this year, said AQRS The Building Company Sdn Bhd (AQRS) general manager Jerry Lau.

In a recent email interview, he told theedgeproperty.com that it was currently in talks with several public-listed companies over the en bloc sale of the RM380 million development's office component, dubbed The Prime.

The Prime is a 30-storey Grade A office tower with GBI Gold certification with a gross floor area of 300,000 sq ft.

The other components are The CEO Suites — 10 stories of Grade A GBI-certified Soho suites — and The Pulse — a three-storey GBI-certified commercial podium for food and beverage (F&B) and retail outlets "under a green canopy setting", said Lau.

The CEO Suites will contain 136 units ranging from 600 sq ft to 850 sq ft, in one- or two-bedroom configurations. Prices for the units start from RM500,000 sq ft.

Meanwhile, the 32,500 sq ft-retail podium will be kept for recurring income, said Ng.

Other facilities including meeting rooms, multi-purpose function rooms, a roof-top garden, pool, gymnasium, and games room. In the pipeline are a secretariat/business centre, convenience shop, bakery/café and clinic.

AQRS's prior projects are the Residency and Bistari 'De' Kota, residential and commercial projects in Kota Damansara.

Its ongoing project is [email protected] Heights, featuring 41 units of luxury twin villas. Amongst its future projects is Gombak Grove, a series of 25 zero-lot bungalows in Gombak.

Exactly...^^

They need an inter-city train to link multiple projects...and connnect it to the new MRT. Feeder bus is just too outdated.

Cool-looking glassy towers, with that nice alfresco dining area in the middle... This is gonna be one heck of an amazing addition to the cluster of high-rises in DP!

However, I think this busy township should have a private monorail similar to that linking the Jupiter Casino to Oasis Shopping Center across the Gold Coast Highway (in Australia, btw). Maybe any future DP monorail can be joined with the Mutiara Damansara shopping precinct and eventually link up with the MRT running on Surian Road?

Hoping that our crack-addict city planners will look into this, otherwise the congestion in this area in, say, 5 years time will be insane!
