Hope the final product looks like the design. Often it is not.

Case in point, Darusalaam City houses built outside Mogadishu (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1791129). The render is gorgeous but the final product is typical house built in the city. It is all about the material used and, the fit and finish.

Anyone know the price of these houses?

I actually think Darusalam is coming out nicely, we've seen worse cases in both Djibouti and Somalia where the final product is very different from the renders

For this project, I don't know the unit prices yet but knowing our real estate sector, they'll probably be over $80,000/unit.

On another note, I'm glad to see such developments outside the capital. Tadjourah, with it's recently opened port and the projects under way nearby in Goubet and Lake Assal (salt mining, processing, wind farm, geothermal drilling etc...) is set to become the second economic hub after the Djibouti city metropolitan area, re-balancing the historic economic/infrastructure gap between the north and south

Beautiful project, how much do these properties go for? And is land expensive in Dj?
According to Ras Siyan, they are probably $80,000/unit. See his answer above.
That was my speculation with the unit price but I suspect they might be higher

Land is expensive in Djib, especially so in the capital but regional towns like Tadjoura are cheaper
