Gamechanging policies For Manchester !

I was drawn to the Evan Davies programme again suggesting that the best City to take on London was Manchester.

What can politicians do to enhance this ?

Looking at the 20 plus scrapers going up in London I am thinking where are the visionaries to make things happen up here ?

Without disrespecting the posters here some of the developments look , well distinctly meagre !

Huh?

Politicians have been enhancing London at the expense of other cities for decades. They tax places like Manchester and spend the money on London. And London waxes ever fatter.

Sounds to me as if you don't want visionaries. What you want instead is the Northern equivalent of Scottish independence.

This is a discussion topic not a construction thread.

Good though it is.

mods and forumistas should this be in the Exchange Square?

However having addressed that to "game change" the local modulation of service delivery and agile business growth in both a strategic and organic nature, I would argue that robust governance at a city region level and a core hub of resources of a contemporary stream from Whitehall is essential.

I am sure you agree.

headancer up to his usual tricks I see. Creating threads in the wrong section
I prostitute myself at your ankles madam !

I wasn't aware of "Exchange Square" but rest assured I shall ply my trade there, although I suspect a lukewarm response compared to the "movers and shakers" on here whose opinion good or indeed bad I appreciate !

If the Mods could move said thread I will see you all there......

We've already been having this discussion on various threads anyway so I doubt anybody wants the same discussion again. I wish you would look on other threads before starting an entire new thread with the hope of discussing something which is already being discussed

I'm having to restrain myself from posting in this thread (failed), like VDB says it's all been discussed before.
