I don't know why, but it looks like eastern Germany for me. Modern cities have good potentials in building new kinds of architecture. You don't have to worry about old districts and monuments.

Cool photos of a cool place - Gdynia is one of my favourite cities in Poland: great modernist architecture and good city planning :eek:kay:

Small correction: Gdynia is 80 years old ;)
The construction of the city started in 1922, and in 1926 Gdynia received city rights.

gdynia has plenty of 30's international style buildings ,i guess one of my favourites if not favourite period in the history of architecture, i love it ! a definately place to visit
