I'd open up Argyle Street and pedestrianise Ingram St instead. It would provide an uninterrupted East-West route, bring life back to Argyle and reduce traffic in Queen and Clyde St.

Surprised to see the BHS site being targeted so quickly, I expected it to be a shell for years. 12 storey mixed-use sounds really promising.

I've heard whispers about the blue lagoon site on here before, it's screaming out for redevelopment.

I agree with that, white is too clinical and dull for our climate. It's partly why I don't care much for the Scottish Power build and the college campus.

Scotland's streets in general have a severe lack of trees compare to other countries, for no apparent reason.

Yes, that's why the original plan for the Buchanan Galleries carpark to be built above it caused such a ruckus.

Though I'd gladly sacrifice ambiance and my lungs if it prevented a ducking multi-storey from looming over our main civic square.

Glad they're cracking down on this, it should make quite a difference on tidying up the biggest offending streets.
