To escape the constant rain in Britain, we're going to be joining many other brits travelling abroad - problem is work requirements mean we wont be able to go until mid/late september.

The destination will either be somewhere in Tunisia or somewhere in Turkey - probably Bodrum or Antalya.

Never been to either country before - but they both look very nice.

A big requirement of the holiday will be lots of hot sunny weather. Given that we're gonna have to leave it till the latter part of september - will either of these places still be hot and sunny - or is it much more likely they'll be cloudy or wet??

Many thanks.

I spent 5 days in Cyprus and 3 days in Antalya in September 2008 and almost every day the weather was rainy both in Cyprus and Antalya but actually it was an extraordinary situation. Anyway after the rain the sun comes back immediately. So you can have sunbath and get tan easily still in September. Also the water is warm no matter the weather is rainy or not.. you can always swim even maybe in early October.
