Arnold Villacencio says he has 90 percent chance of winning back-to-back titles as PGT goes to Canlubang


TWO weeks after scoring a breakthrough win at Summit Point, Arnold Villacencio says he has a 90 percent chance of making it back-to-back as the Philippine Golf Tour goes to Laguna for the Canlubang Invitational. “I think I’ve got 90 percent chance to win again here in Canlubang,” said Villacencio, who beat Miguel Tabuena on the second playoff hole in Batangas to end a 27-year quest for a first pro crown.

WASHINGTON DC, USA – Arnold Palmer, the greenskeeper's son who helped transform golf from an elite game to a sport for the common man, died Sunday, September 25, in Pittsburgh at the age of 87, the US Golf Association said.

"We are deeply saddened by the death of Arnold Palmer, golf's greatest ambassador, at age 87," the USGA said in a statement posted on Twitter.
