Work on Gorton Monastary is gathering pace now ,with all the derelict building's surrounding it all demolished and scaffolding now starting to go up , ive started and new thread ,in which i can keep you up to date.

Had a word with one of the worker's there , he told me to come in the week , and i will be able to get some pics of the work being carried out inside ,

This is a Manchester jewel , and im really looking forward to see it being brought back to life,

Used to pass this building regularly as a kid and i loved it. Great to see the effort put into restoring it to it's former splendour. Prince Charles has visited there and good on the BBC for filming there too.
